AK vs. AK Review

A failed director and a prosperous long-lasting star come face to face in this meta-feud story which is both genuine and bogus at the same time, getting from the genuine personas of the two legendaries of Bollywood one in acting and the other in direction: Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, the former, incredibly fit, actually working, and still popular and the latter, reckless, straightforward, film distraught maker of tedious issues.

Following an unexceptional pandemic year, Indian film finishes off 2020 with postmodern amazement, without a moment’s delay clever and dreadful. Shot under the radar, and reported only days back, Vikramaditya Motwane’s mock-documentary proposes a seismic smackdown between two industry bigwigs. In one corner, Anil Kapoor, cuddly patriarch of one of Bollywood’s most distinguished families. On the other, Anurag Kashyap, producer and long-term director, going an evil additional mile here.

At last, we are left with that unceasing wonderment- do entertainers actually quit acting, in any event, when the cameras quit rolling? At its heart, AK versus AK feels like a mystery fanboy dream.

Any detail of this film inside a-film can be a spoiler. So I won’t disclose any detail any further and would want all of you to watch this banger by yourself.
