The first episode of ‘Clickbait’ a Pakistani web series released back in December on Youtube, is about two rival Youtubers Sara (Rida Zahra) and Asad (Sami Rehman) who would do anything to outperform the other and would make sure they do best than their counterpart. The story seems fun and shows the importance of digital platforms and how they have been helping aspiring people to gain popularity in their respective passions. The most intriguing thing about the series was the manner in which it gives a peek into the manoeuvres that go on in the lives of these Youtube vloggers. There’s no doubt on the fact that Pakistan is filled with amazing content creators, even though we do lack an OTT platform but still, it didn’t become an excuse for our creators to take a backseat. YouTube and similar platforms give all the creators an amazing opportunity to showcase their talent as we are evidently noticing a rise in vloggers, and digital creators since the last few years. All six episodes are available on YouTube, so don’t think twice and binge-watch the series right away.
