Education in Pakistan – What is lacking?
We live in a country who running on technology and there is unequivocally nothing we can do without the help of technology in order to succeed. The world is way ahead of Pakistan when it comes to education and technology. Despite having extremely talented and genius kids, Pakistan is still behind all the other countries when it comes to education. The foremost reason for this is the perception that education is only for privilege. Education is every children’s right but unfortunately, there are many students who are getting advanced level education only because their parents are able to pay gigantic fees. But in the last 10 years, we have detected some organizations/companies who are offering education in the slightest amount and even offering all sorts of scholarships to students who deserve it. The government has also announced different types of courses/diplomas for free and there are many people who are working hard to educate each and every child of Pakistan. But still, we have got a long way to go as there are lots of things which are only taught at places where you have to pay extraordinary amounts of fees. Private schools are comparatively better when it comes to quality of education but their prices are reaching the skies and not everyone can afford it especially when we look at our country’s economy. Prominent business icons along with the government should take this stand to provide more quality education to children with less or no fees so that we become competent enough to educate every child in Pakistan.
