As summer season calls for scorching heat, high temperatures which we are not really a fan of, for various reasons of course- making it difficult to work at the office, attend classes or as simple as just sitting at home, that too amid Ramadan.

I’m here with a list of the 5 best slushes/chillers to beat the heat this Ramadan season. You can order in or have them at the restaurant if you are planning to have iftari outdoors.

1. Cucumber Cooler from Caffe Praha:

Caffe Praha is, famous for its coffees and sandwiches. I tried their fruit enriched drink to fulfil our purpose of this review- keeping it healthy yet refreshing at the same time. If you’re a fan of cucumber or prefer veggie juices at iftar or lunch outs, this is a treat for you. It had a thick consistency, it was energized but a little less sweet. There was something missing which could have made this drink much better maybe a pinch of black pepper or just salt would have made the difference.

2. Mighty Charger from Greeno:

Greeno is well known for its healthiest combinations of fruit/vegetable’s juices and smoothies. Just like the others, this one was an energy-boaster enriched with citric fruits and veggies- Apples, pineapples, oranges, carrots and lemon, this mixture blended together was a hit of energy with the right amount of tangy flavour, it lacked a bit of sweetness and was, unfortunately, a fall-short. The excessive flavour of carrot subsided the rest of the flavours. The only thing I  like about this drink is the number of good nutrients it has combined in a cup that too for such a reasonable price.

3. Red Berry Daiquiri from Xander’s:

This frozen-berry drink made up of strawberries, raspberries and lemon from Xander’s was a bit too sweet for someone who isn’t fond of sweet drinks, but will be the perfect choice for the one with a sweet tooth. So, if you’re someone who loves sweet berry drinks or you’re looking to try one out for a change, don’t give a second thought and order Red Berry Daquiri from Xander’s.

4. Hibiscus Lemonade from Swing:

Swing, besides the cute décor it also offers amazing food and lemonades. I tried their most ordered lemonade and I guess I made the right choice. It had a strong, unique and interesting taste which was complementing the floral essence with lemon burst so well. It actually hit the right spot and was genuinely chilled. I devoured the whole thing in a minute, LOVED IT.

5. Mint Madness from Espresso:

Espresso has always been my favourite for both hot and cold coffees, but this time I decided to try something different. I opted for a very unique combination of mint + coffee, need I say more for trying something different? This drinks peculiar and turned out to be an absolute favourite and a winner, it was overpowering, really madness in a cup all in a good way. If you’re a fan of mint and chocolate you are definitely gonna love this one.
