A Quiet Place 2 Review

Despite having so many movies of the same genre, A Quiet Place made its place in everyone’s heart and became one of the most amazing thriller movies out there and recently on 28th may, Quiet Place 2 got released and people rushed towards cinema to watch this extremely anticipated movie.

The original first movie, in particular, was about a single, ingenious family struggle to survive attacks by extraterrestrials who rely on hearing to track their prey. They communicate in sign language. The fate of the outside world remains a mystery, and survival is step by step. The movie was nail-biting and kept the audience on the edge of their seats throughout.

Part 2 is directed by John Krasinski (this time with a single screenplay credit), the film begins with the most gripping scenario, a retrospective of the collapse of the world, the first horrifying glimpse of an intruder, a headless race for safety and acknowledging what it does. Noise is a very bad idea. After the aftermath of the events of the first movie. There, the family came across the sound of crippling creatures. However, they still didn’t solve the problem and soon decided to leave the house and look for other survivors to find one (Cillian Murphy) who didn’t like the visitor very much.

A clumsy teenage daughter, Regan (Millicent Simmonds), plans to fight back with what she finds on the farm. Meanwhile, her mother (Emily Blunt) defends him, and her teenage daughter (Noah Jupe) and her baby defend him. Thus, the plot unfolds in two dimensions, providing a slightly broader view of this post-apocalyptic world, but still relatively incomplete information about the big picture.

It’s not surprising that the pressure to create a sequel to a movie that worked very well as an independent film poses such a hurdle.  At the same time, the first movie actually embodies the less is more idea like the monsters were not exactly shown which automatically made viewers scared of them and that fear was still present in the audience which led them to rush towards cinema to watch the second part. A Quiet place 2 introduces a lot more action and thrills while remaining faithful to the original and expanding the world. It’s not bloody and doesn’t have too much gore compared to many films in that same genre. The actors are outstanding, being able to really express their fears and emotions without needing to speak and this movie leaves room for Quiet Place Universe or something as people are actually loving the concept.
