Australian Ash Barty beats Karolina Pliskova to win first Wimbledon title
Australian Ashleigh Barty secured her first Wimbledon title on the 50th anniversary of fellow countrywoman Evonne Goolagong Cawley’s maiden victory at the tournament, beating Karolina Pliskova 6-3, 6-7 (4/7), 6-3 in the final.
