90s kids know all the dialogues of these Bollywood Movies from 2000s

We’ve all been there. Growing up in a desi household meant watching whichever Hindi movie was playing on TV. No wonder we’ve watched Nayak a few million times. There are a few other 2000s movies that have acquired the same cult status. Which ones have you watched several times? We’re sure we’ve seen these films so many times, we could recite the dialogues like a poem!

1. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Anyone ashamed to admit this as an adult cannot be part of the cool crew. Watching K3G a million times is the only accepted norm to being a fully-functioning desi adult. We swear!

1

 Kal Ho Naa Ho

If someone says that they have not watched KHNK at least 6 million times in the last 18 years since the movie was released, it’s time to ditch them. How can one not love Aman, Naina, and Rohit? Sorry, you cannot be a part of the cult.

2

Om Shanti Om

This film was a typical masala movie, known to be Bollywood’s signature plotline. However, the Farah Khan-directed OSO became quite a popular film and we’re all for it! I remember it was my most favorite movie of Bollywood.

3

Golmaal

The first part of the series has us laughing to date. Considering this movie was aired on national TV at least 500 million times, it’s natural that all 2000s kids have watched it at least a few hundred times.

6

 Main Hoon Na

Another day, another SRK movie to complete this list. Although the first bits were kinda unscientific and inaccurate, the movie gets progressively better.

7

Dhoom

We cannot vouch for the rest of the franchise but the first version of the film was widely watched. So much so, the title track became a radio anthem for the country and was played, approximately, after every 2 tracks.

8

Jab We Met

Quite arguably one of the best movies to emerge from this decade, there isn’t any movie-watching Indian who didn’t fall in love with Geet’s infectious energy and Aditya’s passion. Counting the total number of times we’ve watched this masterpiece would put a mathematician to shame.

4

Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na

Not many people had a lot of expectations from this movie but it turned out to be a blockbuster only because of the sweet storyline. It was fresh, right out of college, and gave us a lot of expectations from our friends.

9

Chak De! India

How can we not include this masterpiece? SRK’s finest film, excellent production, plus great cast and storyline make this film a classic.

10

Well, those were the times when Bollywood made movies like these. We watched them multiple times and never got bored.
