Sex Education is back with Season 3
We’re just days away from heading back to Moordale Secondary School, as season three of Sex Education hits Netflix on September 17. Earlier this month, the season’s latest trailer got tongues wagging, as it showed Otis and Ruby holding hands.
Now, speaking exclusively ahead of season three’s release, Mimi Keene, who plays Ruby, teased that we’re going to see “a very different” side to her this time around.
“It’s definitely a very different vibe for her this season,” Mimi said. “It starts very the same, and you sort of see her trying to hide, trying to keep things a secret that she doesn’t really want people to know, just to keep up her appearances.
“That’s mainly what she does. But then as she becomes a sort of closer to someone…
“I think being close with someone else, or spending a lot of time with someone else, allows her to understand that it’s not so bad to open up,” she continued.
“And then you start to see a little bit more, and a little bit more. Which has been really fun for me. I’m really glad I got to do that with her.”
Sex Education season three will also see the introduction of a new character Mrs. Hope Haddon, played by Girls star Jemima Kirke.
Mrs. Haddon used to be a Moordale student herself and the character is said to have “big plans” to get the establishment back to its winning ways. e Sex Education Season 3 will start streaming this Friday on 17 September on Netflix.
