MCU Eternal’s trailer is everything we needed after Endgame
The first three phases of the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were driven by the formation of the main team, the Avengers. When the team defeated Thanos, the members fanned out with the wind. The black widow (Scarlett Johansson) died, as did Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). Captain America (Chris Evans) lived a fulfilling life. It’s time to hand over the baton. But to whom? Now, Chloe Zhao’s first official trailer for Eternals suggests that the new team has been with us all the whole time from centuries ago. As the name implies, they are Eternal.
The first full trailer of Marvel’s Eternals has been released, following thousands of years in which they seem to have lived on Earth while hiding their identities. This film of Marvel Cinematic Universe is directed by Chloe Zhao, who recently won two Oscars in Nomadland. Eternals will land at the theatre on November 5.
Immortal aliens have clearly blended into various global cultures and silently helped human progress without direct interference but Avengers: endgame events convinced them to get in the limelight.
The sentimental, majestic trailer ends with a few notes as Sprite (Rear McHugh) wonders out loud who will lead the team as Steve Rogers and Iron Man has left.
“I can lead them,” says Ikaris (Richard Madden). After the pause, his eternal colleague burst out laughing. The cast includes Angelina Jolie as Tena, Barry Keogan as Druig, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Khmer Nanziani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari and Brian as Phaistos. -Includes Tyree Henry and Don Lee as Gilgamesh. Kit Harington plays Dane Whitman, a human character who becomes the Black Knight of the comic book’s sword-handling hero.
The trailer definitely gives hope and light to MCU fans who have been heartbroken after Endgame in 2019.
