Creamiest Chicken Lasagna Recipe
Chicken Lasagna is pretty much always guaranteed to impress. There are very few people who can resist all that cheesy, meaty goodness. And even though a lasagna is a thing of beauty, this lasagna recipe has been our go-to for a while now.
Ingredients For Chicken Lasagna
- Oil (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic (2 cloves, chopped)
- Chicken (1 cup small cubes)
- Lasagna sheets (9 or 12 sheets, boiled)
- Tomato paste (2 tablespoons)
- Oregano leaves (1 teaspoon)
- Ketchup (half cup)
- Red chili flakes (1 tablespoon)
- Salt (to taste)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup shredded)
For White Sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/5 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Oregano leaves
- 1/5 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/5 teaspoon chicken powder
- Salt to taste
Method For Chicken Lasagna
- In a pan add oil, garlic, chicken cubes, oregano, tomato paste, chili flakes and salt
- Cook until chicken becomes tender and add tomato ketchup in cooked chicken – keep the chicken aside
- In another pot, add butter, all purpose flour and mix it well for 2 minutes
- Add milk, black pepper, chicken powder, salt and oregano in same pot and cook until sauce starts to thicken up
- Once the sauce starts to thicken up, add mozzarella, cheddar cheese and stir the pot for 2-3 minutes (turn off your flame at this moment)
Assembling Chicken Lasagna
- Take your lasagna dish, spread white sauce on base and put lasagna sheets on the sauce, then layer the sheets with chicken mixture, white sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the process with more layers of lasagna sheets couple of times
- In the end, put lasagna sheets on top and add loads of white sauce and mozzarella cheese along with some chili flakes and oregano leaves
- Put the dish in oven for 10 mins for 200 degree C
